Storrs Pond Erosion Control
Objective
As this course has seen more use in recent years, some of their walkways and greens have started to erode. In order to mitigate against the effects that increased foot-traffic can have on the forest, the UVDGA will be installing staircases and reinforced berms on some of the steeper terrain to prevent further damage.
As part of this initiative, the greens on holes 5, 8, 12, and 14 will be built up/reinforced. Additionally, walkways in between holes 1/2 and 8/9 will have staircases installed.
